As the title suggests, it is NOT a Slim Fast Shake though but something much better 🙂
A chocolate smoothie, raw and vegan is delicious super sweet, fills you up and requires no chemical additives!
Recipe: DIY Meal Replacement – The Better-Than-Slim-Fast-Shake
Ingredients for this DIY Meal Replacement Shake:
250 ml almond milk
1 cup mixed salad greens or fresh spinach
1 banana, frozen
1 cup berries, frozen or fresh
2-3 TBSP chia seeds, soaked
1 TBSP agave syrup or a few drops of stevia, or 2 soft dates
1 TBSP raw cacao
How to make this DIY Meal Replacement Shake:
Chop the banana into pieces.
Blend with the remaining ingredients.
The chia seeds may be blended or just stirred in at the end for a “bubble tea chocolate shake” effect 🙂 (give them 20 minutes to become jelly like)
