Unlike pasteurized, heat-treated and sugary commercial juices, fresh fruit and vegetable juices are so packed with powerful enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals other nutrients that you can feel it within minutes – there is a reason why freshly extracted juice has been compared to energy transfusion, straight from the plant into your cells! Have you been holding off drinking delicious juices because you don’t have a juicer? The wait is over, here’s how I make the most lovely green juice easily, without a juicer!
How to make juice without a juicer:
All you need is a blender, a nut milk bag or cheese cloth, a bowl and the ingredients of your choice.
Blend your ingredients with a bit of water.
Place the nut milk bag over the opening of your blender container.
Pour the blended ingredients through the nut milk into a bowl.
Now it’s time for some muscle action! Squeeze the bag to get as much juice out as possible.
You will be left with a LOT of juice and surprisingly little pulp which you can use in cracker recipes or throw onto your compost if you happen to have one.
And here’s my favorite juice recipe:
3 apples, Granny Smith
6-8 long stalks of celery
2 inches of ginger
Juice or blend and strain, enjoy!
The juice in the video is a variation of my fave, with less celery, and a whole cucumber, a bunch of cilantro and some mixed lettuces instead.
