Are you ready for the weekend? I sure am, and this smoothie is perfect to kick it off on a high note! (also works on a Wednesday)
Ingredients for this smoothie:
1 C mixed greens – spinach, rucola, dandelion, etc
1 C mixed berries – strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries
1 C papaya
1 C water
2 sprigs mint
Preparation:
Blend all ingredients, starting on low speed.
Gradually increase to maximum speed.
Add water if necessary and sweeten to taste with stevia.
Ps. To always make a perfect smoothie, read this.
Notes:
C = cup, 240 ml
1/2 C = half a cup, 120 ml or / TBSP
1/4 C = quarter of a cup, 60 ml or 4 TBSP
TBSP = table spoon, 15 ml or 3 tsp
tsp = tea spoon, 5 ml
“soft dates” = medjool are usually best. If necessary, soak briefly and drain. The soaking water is super sweet by the way!
