PIM’s Orange-Chocolate Biscuits have always been one of my favourites. That combination of dark chocolate and orange freshness is just genius.
This recipe for raw vegan ice cream has exactly those flavours – enjoy.
makes approximately 1 liter
How to make Pim’s Ice Cream:
Blend all ingredients in your Vitamix.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker or into a glass dish and put it in the freezer compartment.
If you go for the freezer option, stir the ice cream every once in a while in order to keep the ice crystals small and the ice cream .. creamy!
A really nice add-on is to drizzle the ice cream with chocolate. You can find a recipe for raw vegan chocolate HERE.
C = cup, 240 ml
1/2 C = half a cup, 120 ml or / TBSP
1/4 C = quarter of a cup, 60 ml or 4 TBSP
TBSP = table spoon, 15 ml or 3 tsp
tsp = tea spoon, 5 ml
“soft dates” = medjool are usually best. If necessary, soak briefly and drain. The soaking water is super sweet by the way!
