Recipe: Adaptogenic Mushroom Latte

Mushroom Latte Rohtopia Rezept Dancing Shiva

No coffee, no life? My dear coffee lovers, if you can’t live without coffee but also can’t handle the caffeine that makes you jittery and nervous, then try a mushroom latte – yep, with mushrooms, specifically with medicinal mushrooms that provide you with plenty of nutrients, revitalize you, keep you focused and awake, but at the same time without crashing, calm and relaxed.

I’ve only ever enjoyed coffee in cakes, chocolates or as ice cream – but with this mix, things are different. I love this type of latte, warm and frothy, over ice, in cookie recipes, and anywhere else coffee is used, even in Tiramisu it tastes great and is perfect for those who want to avoid coffee or caffeine.

And if you have leftover coffee but don’t want to drink it anymore, you can still make a skin-tightening body scrub with it 🙂

In my current favourite from Dancing Shiva Vienna, along with gluten-free grain coffee, lucuma, cinnamon and vanilla, there are three valuable medicinal mushrooms that complement each other.

  • Reishi: Calming nerves, relaxation, restful sleep.
  • Cordyceps: Energy & performance, better oxygen supply, adaptogenic effect.
  • Chaga: Relaxation, immune system, strengthening.

Recipe: Adaptogenic Mushroom Latte

To prepare, simply dissolve 3 teaspoons of Mushroom Latte Mix in half a cup of hot water and pour in plant-based milk.

I prefer to use oat milk, so I don’t need extra sweetness and mix everything with a whisk or milk frother, I love fluffy latte drinks.
