If you have a tendency to gulp down your smoothie like there’s no tomorrow, and tend to feel bloated afterwards, a smoothie bowl is actually a great choice.
By eating it with a spoon, more like you would do with a regular meal, you slow things down. This can support your digestion and reduce the chance of balloon belly 🤗
Recipe: Breakfast Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients for this Green Smoothie Bowl:⠀⠀⠀⠀
• 1 tsp wheatgrass
• 1/2 cup plant milk
• 1/2 mango or apple
• 1 banana
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• (optional) plant based protein powder
Toppings:
• Raspberries
• Mulberries
• Coconut
• Hemp Seeds
How to make this:
Add the ingredients to your blender in the order listed.
Blend for 30 seconds – 1 minute.
Decorate with toppings as you please.

Notes:
C = cup, 240 ml
1/2 C = half a cup, 120 ml or / TBSP
1/4 C = quarter of a cup, 60 ml or 4 TBSP
TBSP = table spoon, 15 ml or 3 tsp
tsp = tea spoon, 5 ml
“soft dates” = medjool are usually best. If necessary, soak briefly and drain. The soaking water is super sweet by the way!
