You can easily prepare this recipe for a natural scrub yourself and you likely already have the ingredients at home in your pantry.
A scrub gently cleanses your skin, removes old flakes that make your skin look grey, it also supports blood circulation and moisturizes.
Honey has an antibacterial effect and can help with impurities, while coffee can have a skin-smoothing effect on cellulite.
Bonus: if you follow the instructions step by step, you can save time and do both scrubs at once.
Ingredients for the natural body exfoliator scrub:
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup raw sugar or brown sugar
1/4 cup oil – jojoba, almond or coconut
optional: essential oils – here is a recipe for a body scrub with mint
Ingredients for the natural face exfoliator peeling:
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup raw sugar or brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
How to make this natural face + body exfoliator scrub:
Blend oats, almonds and sugar in a food processor or blender.
Divide the mixture into two bowls.
Remove any larger pieces.
Add the remaining ingredients – coffee and oil to one bowl, honey to the other bowl – and stir together.
How to use the face exfoliator and body scrub:
Mix 1 TBSP of the scrub with a dash of water to create a paste and rub it all over your face or body.
Rinse with warm water afterwards.
Storage:
Store cool and dry in a jar.

C = cup, 240 ml
1/2 C = half a cup, 120 ml or / TBSP
1/4 C = quarter of a cup, 60 ml or 4 TBSP
TBSP = table spoon, 15 ml or 3 tsp
tsp = tea spoon, 5 ml
“soft dates” = medjool are usually best. If necessary, soak briefly and drain. The soaking water is super sweet by the way!
Liquid of choice = water, coconut water, plant milk
Sweetener of choice = dates or other dried fruit, rice syrup, xylitol, stevia, coconut nectar, maple syrup, agave nectar, honey (not vegan)
